Richard Kelman, senior partner, has been with the firm since 1982. He has over 30 years experience in the field of Worker’s Compensation Law and is a member of the New York and Florida Bars. He is also a member of the Injured Workers Bar Association (IWBA) as well as the Worker Compensation Alliance (WCA). As a former member of the Board of Directors of the Worker’s Compensation Bar Association, Mr. Kelman remains active in legislative proposals and board policies. He earned a J.D. Degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1975 after receiving a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the State University of Buffalo in 1972.
Diane Winston is the firm’s leading trial attorney and supervisor of litigation. Partner since 2001, she has been with the firm for nearly 20 years. Ms. Winston is a member of the Injured Workers Bar Association (IWBA) as well as the Worker Compensation Alliance (WCA). Mrs. Winston previously served on of Board of Directors and is a former Vice President of the Worker’s Compensation Bar. She earned a J.D. Degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1987 after having received a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1984.
Patrick Vallone, managing partner since 2004, has been with the firm since 1990. He is an active member of the New York State and Connecticut Bar Association, as well as the Worker’s Compensation Bar Association, the Workers Compensation Alliance (WCA) and the Injured Worker’s Bar Association (IWBA). Mr. Vallone earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1991 after completing undergraduate studies at the City University of New York at Queens College.
Monica O’Brien is an associate trial attorney who has been with the firm since 2004. She serves on the Board of Directors of the New York State Workers Compensation Bar Association and is a member of the Nassau County Woman’s Bar Association, the Workers Compensation Alliance (WCA) and the Injured Worker’s Bar Association (IWBA). Ms. O’Brien earned her J.D from New York Law School in 1993 after graduating from Stony Brook University.
